ArtiCAD is popular graphics design program for kitchens, bedrooms, bathrooms and studies but the manuals and supporting documentation is very incomplete. It also seems as if there are little resources on the web to support ArtiCAD. The purpose of this blog is to stimulate better use of ArtiCAD thereby improving the productivity of users.
Typical subjects are:
- How to create your own frame
- How to change the default folders
- Shortcut keys
Contribution will be appreciated.

HI glad that someone out there has decided to give some useful tips on ArtiCAD. If possible i would like to know how to increase the size of the images when rendered in photrealistic mode. Also how can you view the Virtual Reality Mode

I've been neglecting this blog, but now that I've have noticed that some people actually are interested in this I'll make more of an effort. I'll respond to your and the other commentor's questions within the next few days.
ReplyDeleteI did some experimentation and it seems the resolution for renders in photorealistic mode is linked to your screen resolution and window size. So the resolution is that of the ArtiCAD plan window, ie. by resizing the ArtiCAD window you can coarsely manipulate the resolution to an extent. I haven't been able to set the render resolution to anything higher than the screen resolution yet.
ReplyDeleteYou are correct in your assumption, but it is possible to render to a file and you can then set the resolution to whatever you like.
ReplyDeleteHow do you do this? Can you give us a step by step guide please. I want to make the renderings high resolution. I also know there is a way to edit the configuration somehow to increase the resolution but I can't remember how to do it.
DeleteThanks in advance
Untick progress bar, keyboard etc to get a fullscreen image in photo realistic mode
